university in Mexico City, painting/photography at the Istituto Lorenzo de’
Medici in Florence, and animation/media arts at the Art Institute of
Philadelphia. MF spent fifteen years as a digital artist on award-winning
films, such as Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, James Bond and Batman, using
specialized software to create stunning special effects. She now teaches art
